21. THE THIRD GENERATION OF STEVENSONS Robert left Bank Head to his two bachelor sons Jim and Jack. Their sisters Isabella and Ellen stayed on until 1938 when Isabella died having suffered from asthma and bronchitis and Ellen was confined to a nursing home. Jim outlived Jack and in his will left Bank Head to his last surviving brother Robert who in 1962 sold it for subdivision. Bank Head had been home to three generations of Stevensons over 114 years. |
